Erlebnispark Geisterberg
In the wonderful panorama surrounding the Gernkogel, at 1,767 metres above sea level is the Ghost mountain adventure park. Let the Alpendorf Village Gondola start you on your ghostly adventure! Once you reach the summit station you are welcome to board the Ghost Train for the amazing ride to the adventure park. Hiking enthusiasts can also use well-marked trails instead. Whatever your mode of transport – all roads lead to Ghost Mountain!

Wagraini’s mountain world
- Winter world: A necessity for the freestylers of tomorrow! Ambitious youngsters can give the newly-built Kids’ Beginners Snowpark a try: small rails and easy obstacles are waiting for the “freestylers” of tomorrow!
- Summer world: Do you want to experience and understand nature with all your senses? To discover interesting facts about our native animals? Do you want action and sport but also enough space for rest and relaxation? It’s easy to reach and yet high up on the mountain: the Natural Mountain World of “Wagraini’s Grafenberg”. The Grafenberglift takes you comfortably and effortlessly up to 1700 metres altitude where your adventure begins: from the Grafenberg Lake with its raft or the hanging bridge over to the themed walk “The Busy Bees”, down the Hachau slides to the rope garden. Go to the forest swings with a stop on the way at the climbing wall, and then the “Path of Fascination” leads you back to the children’s farm. Huge adventure areas guarantee endless fun and games for children and adults alike!
Wildlife- & Leisurepark Ferleiten
- Wildlife Park: Right next to the Grossglocknerstraße before the toll station there are over 200 animals indigenous to the alps on around 15 hectares of land. A walk around the park takes around one hour. The paths are all suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. In the middle of the park there is a large pond with a lookout tower and plenty of opportunities to sit and rest. There are also information boards and diagrams of the flora and fauna at home in the alps.
- Leisure Park: Enjoy fun and games on 20,000 m² surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery. Refreshments are served at the restaurant and at the Zwergenschenke (dwarf bar). Parents can watch their children from the comfort of the guesthouse Patio. Admission free of charge.
Maiskogel Family Mountain
As the light turns to green, it’ll be time to tighten your buckle and get ready for a wild-but-safe ride. Traveling down a track on rails, you will reach speeds of as much as 40 km/h as you hurtle towards the valley below.
For added nerve-tingling excitement, the course includes waves, jumps and even five loops. At its highest point, the track is actually 11 meters above the ground. Enormous fun for big and small alike! The start and finish of the coaster are right next to the Schaufelberg car park by the amusement park.
We have great offers especially for families all over the year, starting with the family mountain and bathing summer with guided hiking tours and also the small kids weeks. Kids up to 5 years are free in some weeks until the family easter special where the Skipass is free for kids up to 15 years in Ski amadé. Just ask us about it!
